Just 30 miles north of New Orleans, for well over 250 years lies what initially began as a modest Creole Farm House and became one of the oldest Greek revival plantations in the South.

Although Evergreen Plantation has received many awards and recognition for its dedication and commitment to historical preservation it has also served as the backdrop to many award winning Hollywood films.

However, Evergreen Plantation commitment to historical preservation extends far beyond the structures nestled along the rivers edge surrounded moss draped oak trees. It also extends to the preservation of the culture of the people of St. John the Baptist Parish who worked the land and their descendants.
